Two Bulls/DEPT® welcome you!
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been rapidly advancing over the past decade, particularly in the back end of the digital world. Recently, free AI tools like Dall-e and ChatGPT have become accessible to the public, bringing AI into the mainstream consciousness. AI is disrupting various industries, including education, and has the potential to significantly change the way we learn.
Despite the speed at which AI is developing, its success is dependent on the quality of the prompts fed to the machine. The concept of "prompt thinking" and "prompt learning" are integral to the training of AI models. Precise, succinct, and creative prompts are key to creating optimal AI outcomes.
The idea that learning about prompts might generate better outcomes for both playing and learning for kids sparked an idea - let’s build a safe space for kids and families to connect with AI in a meaningful way.
The Magical Story Book lets children use their imagination, creativity and humour to create their own visual and text-based stories and watch them come to life. To play, children start by speaking to the book to describe, via guided prompts, page by page, a scene or character, which will then use Dall-E2 to generate a corresponding image.
As the child continues to describe their story, The Magical Story Book will generate child-friendly text adapted from what the child is saying, creating a simple written narrative alongside the pictures. The child or parent can also customise their story by editing the text or going back and changing the images generated by Dall-E2. Additionally, the game features AI-powered sound effects and music to bring their stories to life. These will be generated once the story is completed based on the tone and story the child has created.
