Two Moos/DEPT®, our family experts team, were given a challenge: Create a fun, educational experience for toddlers. They had just three weeks to execute and release the product out into the wild.

Our Work

We established some key learning outcomes that we wanted the game to have: simple shape recognition, sorting and matching, developing fine motor skills and promoting healthy food choices. The Gameplay goals were to create a cooperative experience for parents and kids. The game can be played while their parents make meals, allowing for a more stress free experience for everyone.

The results

For the short development, it produced bug results! Bento Box Shapes was featured on the App Store in over 150 countries and was a finalist in the 2013 Australian Mobile Awards.
